EKids Notebook

AI-generated mockup of two EKids notebooks with the colorful shape-pattern covers, on a wooden table beside a mug and a pen

EKids is the children's department of Element Church in East Lansing. This notebook was made as a gift for the parents and kids involved in EKids, and was meant to work as a devotional book for them to use together.

The cover is built from a grid of rounded squares, circles, and quarter shapes in a five-color palette — lime, green, teal, purple, and orange. The EKids logo sits on a clear panel in the pattern, with a “This Book Belongs to:” line underneath so every child can claim their copy. The back cover carries the same pattern and a small pill with the church name, the city, and the web address.

I laid out the first version of the covers on September 16, 2022, and had the final files by September 21, 2022. The notebook mockup at the top of this post is AI-generated; it isn't a photo of the printed book.
