Jesus Loves MSU

Jesus Loves MSU shirt, worn on the street

Designed while working at Element Church in East Lansing for their presence at Sparticipation 2024, Michigan State University’s annual student-organization fair. The shirt needed a hook strong enough to stop students walking a crowded row of tables — something that read as Spartan gear first and a church shirt second.

The front plays it straight: "Jesus Loves MSU" in Spartan green and white, readable at a glance and impossible not to reread once it lands. The back carries the actual message — "Change the Backyard, Change the World" wrapped around a globe graphic, with the church’s name and site tucked underneath so anyone who liked the shirt actually knew where it came from.

Produced and worn on-site at Sparticipation 2024, doing double duty as event swag and outreach in the same piece of cotton.
